Strawberry-rhubarb-tarte - sugar free, vegan, gluten free and it tastes just awesome

Do you love summer cakes? It's the season of rhubarb and strawberries and we are lucky they fit so we'll together.

You need:

  • 150g oats

  • 50g walnuts

  • 150g dates

  • 1 tbsp marple syrup

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil


  • 500g rhubarb

  • 2 tbsp agave nectare

  • 2 packages agar-agar

  • 500g strawberries



  1. blend 150g oats, 50g walnuts, 150g dates, 1 tbsp marple syrup and 1 tbsp coconut oil (liquid) until sticky

  2. press the dough in a greased tarte pan

  3. bake at 180°C (upper/lower heat) for 10-12min

  4. peel and cut rhubarb to 1cm

  5. cook the rhubarb in a pot with 2 tbsp agave nectar and 2 packages agar-agar (2min bubbling)

  6. let everything cool

  7. put the rhubarb mash on the cake base and add plenty cut strawberries
